Abstract

Objective: To identify the clinical, relational, protective, and organizational components of humanized, non-revictimizing care during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum among girls and adolescents, and translate them into clinical-governance responsibilities.

Materials and methods: A scoping review followed JBI and PRISMA-ScR. Primary studies on perinatal care for people aged 10–19 years were searched in PubMed, SciELO, and Academic Search Ultimate, with regional verification in BVS/LILACS and SciELO. Eligibility decisions were documented by pathway.

Results: A total of 3,567 records were screened. Of 130 reports sought in the main databases, 16 were not retrieved; of 114 assessed, 22 were excluded and 92 corresponded to 90 unique studies. Regional verification added five non-duplicate studies after excluding three of eight reports. The final corpus comprised 97 reports from 95 unique studies. Evidence was grouped into four domains: clinical safety; relationships, information, and autonomy; privacy and protection; continuity, coordination, and networks.

Conclusions: Humanized care depends on the clinical encounter and the service capacity to sustain privacy, participation, protection, and continuity. HUM-ENA organizes these responsibilities into a review-derived conceptual-operational framework requiring adaptation and validation before use as a guideline or assessment instrument.
